To be considered for admission to our program, prospective students must already have been awarded admission into the Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD graduate program at the University of South Florida. Application form essays should indicate how the STRONG Coasts traineeship fits with your academic/professional plans and how you will contribute to the program/cohort.
This is a Research Study being conducted by the University of South Florida to learn about your experiences and learning outcomes in the Strong Coasts program (IRB study Pro00033749). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Maya Trotz (matrotz@usf.edu or (510) 593-3647). Students who participate in the program will be asked to participate in a 30 minute interview and 30 minute survey about Strong Coasts. This interview will be audio recorded. Participation is voluntary, does not affect your application status, and is not compensated.
